Porous pen point
A felt tip is a pen with a writing point made of pressed fibers that absorb and release ink.
The soft tip allows for smooth, even lines without the scratching of ballpoint pens.
Felt tips range from fine-point markers for writing to broad tips for highlighting or artwork: She outlined the poster with a thick felt tip.
