ultra fine
Barely visible particles
Ultra fine describes something ground, processed, or manufactured to an extremely small particle size or gauge—finer than what would simply be called "fine." The term appears with products where degree of fineness matters: ultra fine sandpaper, ultra fine glitter, ultra fine tip pens.
In textiles and fibers, ultra fine indicates exceptional delicacy or thinness.
Also spelled *ultrafine* as a single word.
