feather cloak
Bird-based ceremonial wrap
A feather cloak is a garment made by attaching feathers to a fabric or fiber base, worn as ceremonial dress or a mark of status.
Hawaiian feather cloaks (ʻahu ʻula), made from thousands of tiny bird feathers, were reserved for royalty and took generations to complete.
Similar garments appear in Maori, Aztec, and other cultures where featherwork signified rank or spiritual power.
