fast-tracking
Accelerating the process
Fast-tracking is the practice of accelerating something through a process, bypassing normal steps or timelines: The bill is being fast-tracked through Congress.
It implies priority treatment—certain candidates get fast-tracked for promotion, drugs get fast-tracked for FDA approval.
The term comes from the literal fast track, a railway line for express trains.
