eyes right
Military drill instruction
Eyes right is a military command directing soldiers in formation to turn their heads sharply to the right, typically to salute a reviewing officer or flag during a parade or ceremony.
The complementary command is eyes left.
Eyes front returns the gaze forward.
The phrase occasionally appears figuratively for directing attention: Eyes right, everyone—the boss just walked in.
