expansile
Able to enlarge
Expansile means capable of expanding or tending to expand.
The term appears most often in medical contexts, describing growths or lesions that push outward as they enlarge: an expansile bone cyst, the tumor showed expansile rather than invasive growth.
Outside medicine, expansive is the more common choice.
