deformable

Able to distort

Deformable describes something that can be changed in shape without breaking.

The term appears most often in technical contexts—physics, engineering, computer graphics—where objects must bend, stretch, or compress under force: deformable materials, deformable body simulation.

A deformable object returns to its original shape (elastic) or retains the new shape (plastic).
