evert
Flip membrane inside-out
To evert is to turn inside out or outward.
The word appears most often in medical and anatomical contexts: a doctor everts an eyelid to examine the inner surface, or a wound causes tissue to evert.
The surgeon carefully everted the specimen for inspection.
The opposite is invert.
