energy flow
Force through systems
Energy flow describes the movement and transfer of energy through a system.
In ecology, it tracks how energy passes from sunlight through plants to herbivores to predators, diminishing at each level.
In physics and engineering, it measures how energy moves through materials or circuits.
The term also appears in alternative medicine and bodywork, referring to purported vital forces moving through the body: The acupuncturist said my energy flow was blocked.
