elevons

Delta wing controls

Elevons are control surfaces on aircraft that combine the functions of elevators and ailerons.

Found on delta-wing and flying-wing aircraft that lack separate tail surfaces, elevons move together to control pitch (climbing and diving) or differentially to control roll (banking).

The word blends elevator and aileron.
