duty free
Tax-exempt shopping zone
Duty free describes goods sold without the taxes normally imposed on imports or luxury items, or the shops that sell them.
Airports and border crossings typically have duty-free zones where travelers can purchase alcohol, tobacco, perfume, and other items at reduced prices: I picked up a bottle of whiskey at duty free.
