draw poker
Replace and bet
Draw poker is the form of poker where players may discard cards from their hand and receive replacements from the deck, typically after an initial round of betting.
This distinguishes it from stud poker, where cards are dealt face up and cannot be exchanged.
Five-card draw is the classic home-game variant: We played draw poker at the kitchen table until midnight.
