five-card stud
Open-hand poker
Five-card stud is a poker variant where each player receives one card face down and four face up, with betting rounds after each card is dealt.
Unlike draw poker, players cannot exchange cards—they play what they're dealt.
The single hidden card (the "hole card") creates the tension: He paired his hole card on the last street and took the pot.
