double-ender
Boat with symmetry
A double-ender is a boat designed with similar bow and stern shapes, allowing it to handle waves from either direction—common in lifeboats, canoes, and traditional Nordic craft.
In film and video production, a double-ender refers to a remote interview where each participant records their own audio or video locally, then combines the tracks for higher quality than a single connection would allow.
The term also applies, sometimes vulgarly, to a dildo designed for simultaneous use by two people.
