dental plate
Removable teeth replacement
A dental plate is a removable prosthetic device that replaces missing teeth, consisting of artificial teeth attached to a plastic or metal base that fits over the gums.
The term is essentially synonymous with denture, though dental plate sometimes refers specifically to a partial denture that replaces only some teeth rather than a full set.
