deidentified
Personal details removed
Deidentified describes data that has had identifying information removed to protect privacy.
Medical records, survey responses, and research data are deidentified by stripping names, addresses, social security numbers, and other details that could link information back to specific individuals: The hospital released deidentified patient records for the study.
The process isn't always foolproof—supposedly deidentified data can sometimes be reidentified through cross-referencing.
