decloak

Drop the camouflage

To decloak is to emerge from concealment, dropping whatever hides you from view.

The word comes from science fiction, where cloaking devices render spacecraft invisible: The Romulan warbird decloaked off the starboard bow.

More broadly, it means to reveal yourself or your intentions after operating covertly: The company finally decloaked its acquisition strategy.
