debarked

Left the vessel

Debarked is the past tense of two different verbs.

To debark is to disembark—to leave a ship, plane, or other vehicle: Passengers debarked at the terminal.

Separately, to debark a tree is to strip its bark, and to debark a dog is to surgically reduce its ability to bark loudly—a controversial veterinary procedure.
