death drops
Sudden theatrical collapses
A death drop is a dramatic dance move from ballroom and voguing culture where the dancer falls backward suddenly, landing on their back with one leg bent beneath them.
The move looks like a controlled collapse and requires significant skill to execute safely.
Death drops became widely known through drag performance and shows like *RuPaul's Drag Race*: She ended the number with a flawless death drop.
