dance-offs
Choreographed showdown contests
A dance-off is a competition where participants take turns dancing, with a winner determined by judges or audience reaction.
The format pits dancers against each other in direct elimination rounds, common in street dance, breakdancing, and reality television: The battle came down to a final dance-off between the two crews.
