cumulation
Gradual mass buildup
Cumulation is the process of accumulating or the result of things piling up over time.
The word appears in formal or technical contexts where accumulation might seem too common: the cumulation of evidence, the cumulation of small advantages.
In trade law, cumulation refers to rules allowing materials from multiple countries to count toward origin requirements.
