cryoprobe
Surgical freezing tool
A cryoprobe is a surgical instrument that applies extreme cold to destroy tissue.
The probe's tip is cooled by liquid nitrogen or other refrigerants to freeze targeted cells—tumors, warts, or abnormal tissue—while minimizing damage to surrounding areas.
The dermatologist used a cryoprobe to remove the lesion.
