crossplay
Cross-gender costume portrayal
Crossplay is cosplay in which the performer dresses as a character of a different gender—a woman portraying a male anime hero, a man as a female video game character.
The term blends "cross-dressing" with "cosplay." Common at anime conventions and gaming events: She's crossplaying as Link from Zelda.
