cross-eye

Eyes converging inward

Cross-eye is a condition in which one or both eyes turn inward toward the nose, a form of strabismus.

The term is used casually and sometimes disparagingly to describe this misalignment, while medical contexts prefer the term esotropia.

As an adjective, cross-eyed describes someone with this condition or, figuratively, a state of visual confusion or dizziness: I went cross-eyed trying to read that tiny print.
