botox
Forehead line eraser
Botox is a brand name for botulinum toxin, a neurotoxic protein used in cosmetic procedures to reduce wrinkles by temporarily paralyzing facial muscles.
The term has become genericized to refer to any such injection: She gets botox every few months.
Beyond cosmetics, it treats medical conditions like migraines, muscle spasms, and excessive sweating.
As a verb, to botox means to inject with the substance: Her forehead looks botoxed. (Capitalized Botox is the trademark.)
