count-up
Ascending numerical sequence
A count-up is a sequential count from a lower number to a higher one, the opposite of a countdown.
While countdowns build anticipation toward an event, count-ups typically measure elapsed time or accumulated progress: The count-up showed how long the system had been running.
As a verb, to count up means to tally or add together: Count up the votes.
