color mismatch
Tones don't match
A color mismatch is a discrepancy between colors that should match but don't.
The term appears in design, printing, and manufacturing when components or materials fail to align in hue, shade, or tone: There's a color mismatch between the paint samples and the finished wall.
In video and photography, color mismatch describes inconsistent color rendering between shots or devices.
