coheads
Shared top positions
Coheads are joint leaders who share authority over an organization, department, or project.
The term appears most often in business and academia, where two people split responsibilities that would traditionally belong to one person: The coheads of the department alternated running faculty meetings.
The singular cohead refers to either person in such an arrangement.
