code blocks
Formatted source segments
Code blocks are sections of text formatted to display programming code, commands, or other technical content exactly as written.
In documentation and online platforms, code blocks preserve spacing, prevent text wrapping, and typically appear in a monospace font: Paste the code block into your terminal.
Inline code uses single backticks; multiline blocks use triple backticks or indentation.
