co-heir
Fellow estate recipient
A co-heir is someone who shares an inheritance with one or more other heirs.
When an estate passes to multiple people—siblings inheriting from a parent, for instance—each is a co-heir to the others: The three brothers were co-heirs to their father's property.
The feminine form co-heiress exists but is rarely used.
