bequeather
Will's named donor
A bequeather is one who bequeaths—someone who leaves property or other assets to others through a will.
The word is rare, since English speakers generally prefer the phrase the person who left me the inheritance or simply name the deceased.
When it does appear, it's usually in legal or formal contexts.
