coheir
Shared inheritance recipient
A coheir is someone who inherits jointly with one or more others.
When an estate passes to multiple recipients rather than a single heir, each is a coheir to the others: The three siblings were coheirs to their father's property.
The term appears most often in legal contexts involving shared inheritance rights.
