cis-woman

Non-transgender female person

A cis-woman is a woman whose gender identity matches the female sex assigned at birth—as opposed to a trans woman, who was assigned male at birth.

The prefix cis- comes from Latin meaning "on the same side as," contrasting with trans- meaning "across." The term emerged in gender studies to name what had previously been the unmarked category: Most cis-women don't think much about their gender identity.
