chest voice
Deep singing resonance
Chest voice is the lower register of the singing or speaking voice, produced when the vocal cords vibrate along their full length and resonance is felt primarily in the chest.
It contrasts with head voice, which is higher and lighter.
Singers develop control of both registers and the transition between them: She belted the chorus in full chest voice.
