calf kick
Low leg attack
A calf kick is a low kick targeting the calf muscle of an opponent's leg, used in combat sports like mixed martial arts and kickboxing.
Unlike traditional low kicks aimed at the thigh, calf kicks strike lower on the leg and can quickly compromise an opponent's mobility and balance: He threw three calf kicks in the first round and his opponent was already limping.
