bullet point
Agenda item indicator
A bullet point is a typographical marker—a dot, dash, or symbol—used to introduce items in a list.
The term also refers to the item itself: Her résumé had six bullet points under each job.
Bullet points signal discrete, parallel pieces of information, making documents easier to scan.
To bullet-point something is to reduce it to such a list: Can you bullet-point the main takeaways?
