Bulldyke is a slang term, usually offensive, for a lesbian who presents as aggressively masculine in appearance or manner.
The word emphasizes physical toughness or intimidating demeanor more than *dyke* alone.
Some lesbians have reclaimed it as a term of pride: She's a proud bulldyke who doesn't give a damn what anyone thinks.
