bullbar
Truck front protector
A bullbar is a heavy metal frame mounted on the front of a vehicle to protect it from collision damage, especially from livestock or wildlife on rural roads.
Common in Australia, where hitting kangaroos is a real hazard.
Also called a roo bar, push bar, or brush guard depending on region and design: The truck's bullbar was dented from hitting a deer.
