breezeways
Open-air corridors
Breezeways is the plural of breezeway, a covered passage open on the sides that connects two structures—typically a house and a garage or two wings of a building.
The design channels airflow, providing ventilation and shade: The breezeway kept us cool walking between the main house and the guest cottage.
