bogger

One in muck

Bogger has several regional and occupational meanings.

In mining, particularly in Australia, a bogger is a machine or operator that loads ore into transport vehicles underground.

In Irish and British dialect, bogger is a mildly derogatory term for someone from a rural or boggy area—a country bumpkin: He's just a bogger from the sticks.

The word can also refer to someone who bogs, or gets stuck in muddy terrain.
