body alignment
How you stand
Body alignment refers to the positioning of body parts in relation to each other and to an ideal postural standard.
In fitness, yoga, and physical therapy, proper alignment means stacking joints and distributing weight to minimize strain on muscles and joints.
The instructor adjusted my body alignment during the pose.
Good alignment supports efficient movement and helps prevent injury, while poor alignment can lead to chronic pain or muscular imbalances.
