blood plasma
Yellowish circulatory fluid
Blood plasma is the liquid component of blood—the pale yellow fluid in which blood cells are suspended.
It consists mostly of water but carries proteins, hormones, nutrients, and waste products throughout the body.
Plasma can be separated from blood cells and used in transfusions or to manufacture treatments for clotting disorders and immune deficiencies.
