binge release
All episodes immediately
Binge release is a distribution strategy where all episodes of a television series become available simultaneously, allowing viewers to watch at their own pace rather than waiting for weekly installments.
Netflix popularized this approach: The whole season dropped at midnight and I binge released it by Sunday.
The term contrasts with traditional broadcast scheduling.
