belly rubs
Pet pampering technique
Belly rubs are the act of rubbing or stroking an animal's belly, typically a dog or cat that rolls over to invite the attention.
Dogs especially solicit belly rubs as a sign of trust and affection: She flopped onto her back, begging for belly rubs.
The term extends playfully to humans seeking similar comfort or pampering.
