bandwagoners
Fair-weather fans only
Bandwagoners are people who support a cause, team, or trend only after it becomes popular or successful.
The term is usually disparaging, implying fair-weather loyalty rather than genuine commitment: The bandwagoners showed up after we made the playoffs.
Sports fans use it to distinguish longtime supporters from those who arrive only for winning seasons.
