casual gamers
Leisure-time players only
Casual gamers play video games occasionally or without intense commitment, in contrast to hardcore gamers who invest significant time and skill development.
The term often implies preference for simple, accessible games rather than complex or competitive ones: Mobile puzzle games appeal to casual gamers.
The label can be dismissive when used by dedicated players to suggest someone isn't a "real" gamer.
