Autotunes is the verb form of Auto-Tune, the audio processing software that corrects pitch in vocal recordings.
To autotune a track is to run it through pitch correction, smoothing out imperfections or creating the robotic vocal effect popularized in late-2000s pop and hip-hop: They autotuned the hell out of that chorus.
The term has become generic for any pitch correction, regardless of brand.
