Self-adjusting screen light
Auto-brightness is a display feature that automatically adjusts screen brightness based on ambient light conditions.
A sensor detects how bright the surroundings are and raises or lowers the screen accordingly—dimming in dark rooms, brightening in sunlight.
The feature saves battery and reduces eye strain: I turned off auto-brightness because it kept dimming during movies.
