arterial pressure
Vascular pushing strength
Arterial pressure is the force exerted by blood against the walls of the arteries as the heart pumps it through the body.
It's measured in two numbers: systolic (during heartbeat) and diastolic (between beats).
The term is largely synonymous with blood pressure in clinical settings: The patient's arterial pressure was dangerously high.
