ampere-hours
Charge storage measurement
Ampere-hours measure electrical charge—the amount of current flowing over time.
A battery rated at 100 ampere-hours can theoretically deliver one ampere for 100 hours, or 100 amperes for one hour.
The unit appears on batteries to indicate capacity: This deep-cycle battery has 200 ampere-hours.
Often abbreviated Ah.
